Excellent picture!

I'm curious - did you have any barriers to shoot photos through? Seems like the zoo I go to has all sorts of things to inhibit photography! I'll keep trying when I do return to the zoo but it is frustrating to have dirty plexiglass (? or whatever it is) in between the animals and my camera!

Hi Sandy,

For the first shot the animals were in a pit with a moat surrounding them and the outer barrier, in the primate shot this was done through Plexiglas and it is somewhat dirty and the area I was in was dimly lit. For animals behind fences I try to get as close to the fence as possible; otherwise the camera tries to focus on the links. Thanks for commenting.
