Stenbock House

This building is the official seat of government in Estonia and for some reason the EU flag was projected onto it during our stay in Tallinn. It is located on Toompea Hill in the old town part of Tallinn. I had a fairly good view of it from our 7th floor hotel room. A 15 second exposure, through the hotel room gave me this image.



The wonky colours are due to the different colour temperature light sources.

Interesting. Seems to be a bit more recent than the adjoining buildings. Not that I am much of an expert. They seem less polished and weathered.

The building was constructed in the late 1700s and underwent major renovations that were completed in 2000. This is the rear of the buildings, so the fronts, being more accessible from the street have been cleaned up a lot more than the side we see here.
