    A couple of birds

After more than 200mm of rain I went to Buderim Falls expecting them to be in flood. But it seems the parched earth just swallowed the rainwater.

In the gloom I spotted a Spectacled Monarch but had no time to swap lenses.

By the time I had the 300mm lens ready to go the bird had gone but I did see a cheeky little Pale-yellow Robin.

Now I know where there is a Monarch, and a Noisy Pita, I'll be back on a less overcast day with the long lens.

Nice set Richard A couple of birdsthe bird images are great and the inclusion of the figure in the waterfall image works very well.
