    A moving feast.

#1 Now the rains have stopped for a couple of days I can get out with the camera again. This Roo decided he'd have a lazy morning sat by our back fence so I took a quick snap of him. Blown up full size the image shows two ticks in his nether regions. In the posted image they are probably just black dots. Fortunately they are not paralysis ticks and will drop off when they've had their feast.

I went for a walk by the Maroochy river and I became the feast. I must have used half a can of Aeroguard on the mozzies.

+1 to Brian's comment. The colours (tans/browns) are striking!
