    centipede "figure of 8"

    Saw this by the front door a couple days ago:

    centipede "figure of 8"

    How soon I forget DOF basics these days . .

    Next day it was gone.

    Lens was the "Leica" Elmarit f/2.8 45mm macro which does work well on the Panasonic G1, sort of equivalently to your Tamron . . sort of. I really should have shot further back and perhaps @ f/16. The thing was on the wall and I did use a tripod but certainly could have done better . . .

    Went back the very next day to do just that and the bloody thing had disappeared, grrr!
