Great image! Nice mix of sunlight and shadow. Very effective in B&W - much more so than in color, I suspect.

One would normally expect a flower to be a colour photo, and indeed it might, but then we would have been overwhelmed by the colour of the bloom. This really proves the point about monochrome allowing us to focus on the textures and shapes. Kudos!
