    Dan's Guitar

My son who is currently with us (at the Minnesota apartment) is a very skilled guitarist. Today while he was cleaning his axe (as jazz musicians refer to their instrument as) I took a few shots with my XT-1 with a 60mm f/2.4 lens. These were my favorites.

Interesting--though I would have no idea what I was seeing if you had not told me!

I need to play around with different apertures to get the entire knob in focus.

I agree, at the moment there is not enough area in the image that is in focus that shouts out 'guitar'.

I'd have to agree here. The DoF is just a touch too shallow for this image to work. Nothing seems to actually be sharp and in focus.

Nice work, agree that changing the DoF would help make this a fantastic image.
