    Pronghorn

These two male pronghorn where found on a hillside in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. This species is the second fastest land mammal in the world. They evolved in North America at a time when there was at least on species of cheetah present. They are not close relatives of African antelope.

This might horrify people but back in the day, my family hunted these for meat (not sport). They are definitely fast, hard to get close to because of excellent eye sight and their sense of smell. Now I'd rather see them in wonderful pictures like yours! Thanks for sharing!

Good real life scene. Some potentially tricky exposure problems have been nicely overcome.

There is something missing in this shot.

It looks like you are shooting down on them. The terrain is not distinguishable. An image that was shot wider may have given a better perspective of the hill side.
