It is also a fun holiday with face painting and with various representations of skeletons made of plaster, paper mache and candy.

Other cultures with an Hispanic heritage also have Day of the Dead celebrations. I have attended a celebration of this type at a Manila, Republic of the Philippines, graveyard. But I don't remember face painting and skeleton mannequins. I think that this portion of the celebration is mainly centered among Mexicans. It may also be that the celebration evolved into something different here in the USA...
I also shot a large number of photos of Mexican dancing using slow shutter speeds. It will take a while to select these and to process them....
