Re: Just a barn
I like the composition. I feel that the colours are a bit overdone though, but that is only my opinion.

Re: Just a barn
I also like the composition, and the timing of the birds passing by.

Re: Just a barn
Good choice of exposure and shutter speed. Love the contrast in the clouds and the overall painterly look! Crows look great, too.

Re: Just a barn
Hi Mike,
It looks like you took the time to compose the photo, and with good results. The birds flying into the frame from the right, and rising in line with the roof make it all the more interesting.
The post-processing of the sky has created halos along the roof and in the trees. The result is a bit too forced for my liking, and not very realistic. Perhaps a bit less saturation and contrast would be worth a try.

Yep, the forcing of the colours has caused significant halos, including purple fringing around the barn.

Re: Just a barn
Question on the birds - were they in the original image or did you add those in PP?
Given the direction of the light on the barn and tree, I would have expected to see more texture in the birds.

Re: Just a barn
Nice composition, but like others ... IMHO I feel the colors are too much. I am not a fan of the Kincaid look, but that's just me.
Like Manfred, I wonder about the birds. They look like they've been added to the photo.
