Luggala, Co.Wicklow

Autumn colours have been generally dissappointing this year in exposed areas due to storms but this sheltered valley in County Wicklow didn't disappoint on my brief stop on November 1st. The lake is Lough Tay and forms part of a private estate. The image consists of three sets of two separate exposures merged to capture the wide angle and the high dynamic range.

Yes Roy. Strangely enough its not there on the full size TIFF file so it seems to be generated somewhere in the size reduction and conversion to JPEG for uploading to CiC. Not visible in my print either.

A very nice photo. The colours have been developed nicely - not over-saturated and with the right amount of contrast. It's just as I would imagine the actual scene to be.
