These are a common sight around the UK at this time of year, but I've no idea why the farmer decided to arrange them so. They seem to be advancing on us (sorry about the tree in the way - only place I could get high enough). Just posted for fun - but do you know what you are looking at?

Farming couldn't exist without miles and miles of plastic these days. What happens to it after it has served its purpose? None of that nonsense in my day, lad.
I've moved a few of those way back when I was on a trip to see my grandmother back in Ohio. I think the ones I moved were quite a bit bigger than these though.
