    How about that?

How about that folks? We received a healthy dog with no physical problems. Finn is a six-month old poodle-mix who was surrendered by his family because he didn't fit in with their lifestyle. They are living in a small apartment with no yard and have a two year old toddler. They complained that Finn was knocking over the toddler

Finn is just an enthusiastic fifteen pound puppy with lots of energy. Selecting a high energy dog was not the best choice for his prior family

He is very happy with us as his foster parents and has a large yard in which to expend all that puppy energy. He also has some rules and guidelines which we set. Our older dogs also act as surrogate parents and let Finn know when his behavior goes beyond the acceptable

    How about that?

Finn will attend his first rescue event this Saturday and we will be certain to monitor any prospective adopters

They should have thought about all that before they got a dog in the first place. To hear it doesn't fit in with their current lifestyle, makes me so mad. They just get rid of the dog.

Thankfully there is you and others like you around to pick-up the pieces.

I feel the same way. A few weeks ago we saw on a rescue site a German Shorthair pup that at 4 months the owner decided that the dog wouldn't be a good hunter. By the time my wife called them the dog had been adopted.

Thanks my friends. Finn is a wonderful boy. All happiness and joy. A big bubbly puppy!

He attracts attention anywhere I take him. Even the vet staff were impressed with his looks and personality when I brought him in for a checkup yesterday.

We are going to ensure that his adopter will be willing to devote some time in training him. He has been with us only four days and I have already taught this boy to sit. He is boisterous but, intelligent and has a desire to please.

Right now we have five foster dogs with us but, four of them are spoken for and are just waiting for one reason or another to go to their new families.

Roxy is a three and a half pound Yorkie who has had hip surgery to correct a birth defect and allow her to walk comfortably. She has been adopted by my daughter and son in law and will go to them as soon as she fully recovers. The business my daughter owns helps our rescue and has paid for Roxy's surgery.
    How about that?

Samantha and Cheri are mini poodles. They have been reserved by a couple who live on the Colorado River, near Arizona. This couple had lost their two poodles to old age recently and have been previously approved for adoption. Their adult daughter visited us yesterday evening and we had a very enjoyable meeting between her parents and the two dogs via smartphones. Samantha and Cheri will be picked up by their new owners on Friday.
    Samantha...
    How about that?
    Cheri...
    How about that?

Coco is a young parti-colored Shihtsu. She was adopted by a couple a few weeks ago. However, her new parents had a reservation for a cruise to Europe and Coco is staying with us until they return...
    How about that?

Finn is the only one that is still up for adoption. When we place him on our rescue site, I think we will be deluged with applicants, Then it will only be a matter of choosing the best of the best
