    Gems of Namibia

This year I was lucky to visit Namibia. It was my first and decidedly stunning experience of traveling to Africa. I got a collection of photos, which I called Gems of Namibia, because each of the amazing things that became the object of my shooting is only in Namibia. And they are adorable! In order not to bore everyone, I publish some of the photographs. If anyone is interested, I will post the full collection on my website.

The first three images of the dunes in Namib-Naukluft National Park bring back memories of our visit there; these look like the area around Dune 45. I don't recognize the location of the 4th image and assume that the 5th one is from Kolmanskop?

Labeling your images would make it easier for members to identify and discuss your individual shots.

Very striking photos. It's hard to choose, but I think the second and last are my favorites. The composition in #2 is in some ways unconventional, but I think it works very well. The contrasts in the final one are excellent. Very inspiring work. I hope to see more of yours here.

These are fantastic. I love #3 with the human element adding scale to the scene.
So wonderful and unique, beautiful ... thank you for sharing.

Thank you! Yes it's Dune 45. And the last image is Kolmanoskop.
Didn't find how to label the images, but will try to do it next time.

I numbered and spaced them out. Have a look at your posting to see what I did; really very simple.

1,2 and 5 standout for me but not by much. A great set.

#2 shot in Deadvlei and this is very well photographed place. Although I made my versions of popular compositions with trees, I also search for some unique view there. I believe I manage to find such composition in #2 - at least I never saw something like that from my colleagues

Nice series, #5 is my favorite but all have interesting compositions and processing.

    A wonderful set. I am hard-pressed to decide between #1 and #2.
