    Last two from film

Took the pups out for a stroll along Bayview and it was near sunset. Hard to edit jpegs, they just don't give you enuff and it seems whatever I attempt to do, makes something else worse. Hmmm... jpeg or poor editing skills?
I did do "guided" upright adjustments and chromatic abberations fixes.

#1 a little soft, but really kind of on purpose. And I had two labradors on leash, near water. Maybe that makes sense to some.

I'm trying to play with film some to both learn as well as to "see" better.

    seriously.

#1 along the trail, high tide.

    #2 Old barn.

I like #1 with the reflection of the barn. In #2 I would have moved closer to get the fence and the shadow of the tree out of the foreground. Easier said than done with two dogs on leash.

Yeah thank you. That shadow bugs me too. Should have moved. moving closer was also hard, so I tried to at least have the fence frame the barn. Still, would have been a better photograph w/o it. Lesson learned

The only serious problem for me is having the foreground (fence etc) in #2 out of focus. But the only way of avoiding this issue would have been to shoot from a different angle which totally excluded the fence.
