    I suspect you could improve #1 by slightly darkening the shadows. I would, when working from a Raw image, increase the blacks a little when doing the initial conversion. That creates a similar effect to using a Dehaze adjustment.

    And I agree about a little bit more highlight brightness to #2 which would increase the dramatic effect. No too much though, be careful.

    Thanks for the comments. Very helpful feedback.
    I did do some debating on #1 but didn’t help enuff.
    Will maybe back off of the highlights slider for number two. Sometimes I think my monitor needs some calibration.
