    I think the first would benefit by cropping to isolate the big eye thing and it's reflection.....the second is marvelous.

    I was fighting against a VERY flat day with all the shots but particularly the first one where it needed some oomph. In an ideal world the weather would have been lovely with a blue sky and white fluffy clouds skidding dramatically across the image or I"d have been shooting in the aftermath of a storm where the sky was still boiling with drama - but I wasn't. It was a bit crap, cold, grey and drizzling but I saw the puddle and thought "why not' so you get what you get.
