Another morning in the duck blind.

Haven't posted in a while so I thought it was little overdue. I went duck hunting in Eastern Oregon last week. This is what we got to witness after we got settled in the blind. I absolutely love duck hunting, but, I love of it for more reasons than just the hunting part. This is another.

Another morning in the duck blind.

Brian, very nice. Your duck hunts sound like our pheasant hunts. A walk through the beautiful fields with a dog and a shotgun. My wife calls it an "armed hike."

Watching the day come to life, watching the dog work, watching/listening to the ducks/geese flying in the distance is what it's all about for me. It's all part of what keeps my batteries charged when I'm doing something that sucking the life out of me, which is working in a windowless, soulless building 12hrs/day. Same thing when I'm pheasant hunting as well. I have a friend that calls pheasant hunting as hunting easter eggs with a shotgun.

What is the centre of attention please, Brian?

Not really sure I understand your question. It is just a photo of my perspective from where I was sitting and what I was seeing. Lots of things to view like the over color cast, the silhouette of the decoys, the calmness and reflection of the river. It's whatever you want to see in it, I guess.
