Re: Something different? Working with textures.
I'm struggling to be inspired today so I've resorted to the things surrounding me. I thought I'd try to make a collage and this is the result. There are 7 photos and 1 texture used twice in this image.

Re: Something different? Working with textures.
I thought you would like to see these images and John D'Agostino's site.
:)
John D'Agostino's images inserted in Lens blog
Of course Silvershotz has an issue on such beautiful work.

Lonely.

Last year I had the opportunity to do a shoot at an old house that a local identity had lived and died in. He was a very lonely fellow and would sit outside in this chair, just watching the world go by. Now, just his chair remains.

I have the current Folio issue coming in the mail right now and am looking forward to seeing who and what is in it. Thanks for showing us that this magazine even exists! :)

You are welcome Kit :)
Re: Something different? Working with textures.
I love this shot - it looks well aged and the color tone is perfect with the theme of the image.... you can picture the old fellow sitting there day after day, and wonder what he might have been thinking about :)

Re: Something different? Working with textures.
Did some playing today with textures and multiple layered exposures...Ever so often, I really hit one that makes my toes all warm and fuzzy...this is right up there. It's in one of the Mini Comps as "Busy Feet"

Re: Something different? Working with textures.
I was working on a project for my Photography class and found this wonderful covered bridge. Actually it's the only covered bridge left in Ontario Canada. I think the texture added a certain charm to the bridge.

Awww Cindy, I can't see your shot, and I am very anxious to do so. I know the bridge you are talking about and have taken many shots of it. I would love to see what you have done with textures.
Check the FAQ for how to post images here. It seems complicated at first but once you have done it a few time it's pretty easy.

I get busy for a while and then come back to find everyone doing wonderful work -- well done, you all!
Re: Something different? Working with textures.
I feel a bit silly posting this one after Antonio's art. Your creativity is astounding Antonio. You are an inspiration.:)

Raylee, I really like that one! And Chris, I like yours too -- are those airplanes??
I did two today; I'm not sure whether I like them. The flowers are very, very bright.
