    Square frame

I have the opportunity to exhibit one picture of my choice in a gallery and it must be 20cm / 20cm (7,87 inches / 7,87 inches).
Can I have critics about these options, if you please ? Which do you like the most ? If any...
    Thank you
The first is the image I like the most. In spite of the blue canvas

    Hi Antonio

The cherub is clearer in #1 - he gets a bit lost in #2.

    Great image.

The blue background ... the ambience is more interesting. The gallery walls are a neutral color?

    Stellar question Marta

I have just asked them as well as the size of the room and the kind of available light by day and by night.

Obrigado Marta. Muito gentil. = Thank you Marta. Very kind of you.

Another thing to consider what works are displayed together, and how far (distance between them)... Prepare the two alternatives and to choose the best fit, or discuss the matter with the promoters of the exhibition ...

    Cat & Wood Carving

This is a melding of two images, my kitty and an interesting box carved of wood.

I had to do a little stretching and rotating of the wood carving picture. I wanted the heads of the birds to be atop the cat's eyes. Something different? Post your working with textures shots here.

Ron, I feel that the texture could be stronger...

I think something good may come out of it

This has now become a work in progress.Antonio stated that the texture could have been stronger and i agree with him so i went back to work on it and i'm up to this point in it's transformation into something that will work.If there are any suggestions or other tecnnique's that i could use on this image feel free to give a shout. Thanks for viewing...Ron

On the road to East Topsham, Vt

First concerted effort at doing textures using multiple layering/masking techniques. I had a very limited texture palette but am sort of hooked so will go shoot lots of them tomorrow....I had funn and I am sure my efforts are pretty sophomoric compared to the rest of you guys, but as with any learning curve, there are breaks in the guardrail. Lots of criticism and comments sought.
