Now you are just being too talented. You will be doing this with one arm behind your back whilst playing Donald's accordion next. Beautiful images, just beautiful.

Good advice, Donald -- I'll work on it!

I like this a lot. Very simple and effective. The only thing I would suggest is that when you apply the text wind down the opacity so it blends better with texture of the main image. Thinking about it, it may work better if the text is applied to the texture layer so that it is blended with the rest of the composite layers.
You may be aware of this site 'dafont' but just in case.
The subtlety of the texture used pleases me and so does the idea of the font.
The link to the fonts is just great.
Thank you Steve

Thats cracked it Elise. Nice work and looking very polished now.ETA: Here's a redo with the opacity lowered and a new font, because I like this one better . . .
Good idea but the texture and the original seem separated somehow. RThat could be the intention of course It is almost as if we are looking through still water.Flowers
These religious themes lend themselves well to this treatment. I like this but you have me scratching my head wondering if it is 2 or 3 layers (which is good)May God Have Mercy...
Bold, stylised and way over the top....I love it Ashwin. The only thing I would say is the texture is at odds with the subject matter but on reflection I think that maybe why it works for meReading the Newspaper
Two layers Steve.
Would you like to see them for the sake of curiosity ?
This morning I had in mind to go and shoot windows (old ones) of abandoned buildings which are not difficult to find unfortunately and "en passant" some textures.
I found many more than I could think of.
I passed near the place where my father worked and I shot the still existing azulejos.
The angel is one of them and so are the flowers I posted later today in this very thread.
Ashwin, there are azulejos from the Portuguese in India
Thanks, Steve!
