Blue Mushroom (really)

Wandering the garden after my short primary shooting I came across some small blue mushrooms growing in some cut giant butong bamboo.

Very nice, I like the floating effect and the rich colors beneath; what is that amber surface?

The mushroom is growing in the remains of a column of giant butong bamboo we cut down about a month ago.
