    Early morning

I was out early loving sunup. These pictures are best viewed large. They are dark on purpose. The dynamic range was awesome. I hope I did the scenes justice and you see what I saw.

The last one is especially the best in Lightbox. What I saw was how the light spilled down this little valley and illumined different spots here and there.

As soon as I made the pictures lighter, they lost all the charm. If you can show me something different?

Good on you to present what you saw, I find it difficult to do that with lowlight shots; capturing the light is easy the hard part is getting the colors and shadows right as the eyes tend to do some editing for you. A good example of a difficult interpretation would be trees lit by streetlights, I visual green even though the real colors tend towards orange/yellow.

Your second shot in particular, at least for me, feels like you grabbed that light just as it was - it feels early in the day and I'm on that walk with you.

John, Lucky it was all natural light, but the reflected light still turned things orange yellow. I appreciated your commentary.
