Re: Kickstarter Digifilm camera
Weird. I went through a lot of the page and couldn't quite figure out what it is. Instead of simply telling you what it is, they include stuff like this:
I keep all photos well, reviving every moment, from time to time. And I was led to different stories, deeper and deeper, every time.
As far as I could tell, this is a camera that uses film-shaped canisters to select what Canon calls "picture styles," only they are picture styles designed to imitate various types of film. Is that right? If so, I can't see any reason to want one. There is plenty of software available now that will imitate old films, while still leaving you with a good raw image from the camera.
Or am I missing something?

+1 to your comments Dan. It looks like a solution trying to find a problem to solve. The camera itself looks to be a low-end digital camera with cartridges of preset effects. The cartridge is a gimmick that could just as easily be incorporated into the camera's firmware for a lot less money.
I could be surprised, but the target audience for this product does not look to be all that large.

I think this is fake ad, to go along with fake news, or an April first joke that fell into a time warp.
