Today

Friday at 10am - its raining - pick up mate - its raining - drive to Hartlepool - its still raining - park car - its raining - walk along the beach to the pier - its a horizontal blizzard or rain and sleet - hide behind pillar - take a handful of shots - cameras get soaked - give up and go home.

The best I could do and not the most dramatic angle but standing where I would have liked would have risked destroying the camera and covered the filter with water as soon as the lens cap was off...

Hahahaha - an umbrella works best when the rain is coming down, this was coming almost horizontally straight in from the sea so we could barely point the cameras in the right direction. This shot was with my tripod tucked in close to one of the pillars and angled so the lens was offered some cover, it really was horrid out there yesterday.
