Agree that they are nice images but not so sure that the focus if "off" John. They have a look of using a shallow DoF and point focus to create a soft image but with a focal point. I have some "photo buddies" (not on CIC) who favour that style.

Bill, I'm in kind of a transition stage in that I'm getting away from crunchy presentations in favor of softer images that make you more aware of light and tonality, so I kind of agree with where you're coming from. In this image, I think I know the focal point you're getting at, but can you please tell me what it is? Thanks.

Lon, In image 1 it would be the plant lower left third; 2: very clear, upper centre third;3: I think you missed it here, intending to get the centre of the upper flower?; 4: mean to be the the main yellow flower? What focus setting were you using?
