Helpful Posts: I spent some time shooting in the area just west of downtown Ottawa, during golden hour and blue hour.
These shots of the National Holocaust Monument were done at Blue Hour; which lasted about 15 minutes yesterday.
The monument was unveiled a few months ago; in late September, 2017 and was designed by the Polish-American architect, Daniel Libeskind.

Very nice images, particularly number 1.
Both of Libeskind's parents were Holocaust survivors and he designed at least two other Holocaust museums, in Berlin (which I have seen) and Copenhagen (which I haven't seen).

Very nice, Manfred. I was thinking that #2 is my favorite, but that swirl of cloud in #1 is such a perfect counterpoint to the straight lines, and evocative of the moment in history that the monument marks. Well done.

Beautifully done. I like #1 because of the path leading into the walls. Very stark images, the only way it could be done.
