Sorry... I meant I would prefer a shot of a lady, as I prefer ladies (nothing personal fellas). There are some members here who will remain nameless who seem to think I have a medicine cabinet full of interesting substances, and that it accounts in some way for my eccentricity. It's rubbish of course - I was just dropped on my head as a baby! And I keep my substances in a warehouse!
Rubbish! you are the most competent and sane member we have.
I usually ask my wife what she thinks about my images.
When I asked her about this she was horrified by the errors in English. I do have corrected them. I am sorry I have done so.
I told you guys, I have my limitations
I couldn't change the wrong title in the other posts
When you see these horrors please let me know and correct them. If you feel like !
Antonio you write better English than half the population of the UK and I am being serious now.I told you guys, I have my limitations
Another beautiful image. I would really like to see some of the building your were involved in designing.
I agree - a magnificent, imaginative image. Beautifully created. It is full of information, but also wonderfully balanced and harmonious. My compliments on a highly attractive piece of art.
Hi Antonio,
I was wondering if for the first shot you called out "don't move, I'm going to shoot", and he took it the wrong way!
In fact the quality of the schools is very poor these days in many European countries. To save money. Poor idea. It looks however that - if you are not paying - you can get a good school for your children if you pay. Portugal is on the trend. Sad.
Steve, my practice while Architect has been rather conditioned by the circumstances which were somebody else saying what and how to do it and quite often, moderated by the money available.
So, as I got old creativeness decreased a lot which resulted in much practical solutions.
However, I have done quite a few private and public buildings. I have also done urban planning. Nothing important but some, rather large in terms of areas.
A kindergarten (German word adopted by the British, right ?) is just built a few month ago. It was the last one. When I go and visit it I will bring a photo for you to see.
I designed my own house.

Thank you Donald. As you see by the next image the inspiration doesn't come just like that...

In my site/blog - which is being under renovation process - I have explained the circumstances of this shot. If you are using Chrome you can make an automatic translation I hope.
But I tell you something about the moment.
I do have many pictures... let me go and see how many... 9 pictures of the guy with his bicycle. He was doing yoga on the water as the tide was very low. Remember I was in Bali. I have been waiting for the photo I have posted in the blog and herewith, for some time while he was doing several movements like diving for example for brief moments.
( My wife is near me now and she was reading and seeing about the A380. We have flown Paris-Singapore-Paris on this plane, Singapore Airlines )
Thank you for your comment Colin
Here is the image from the site
Yes at that moment she was watching videos on YouTube and on BBC about the Qantas accident.
She has also seen that, while we were in Java, there was a great eruption on Merapi volcano

To me, the image has evident human element in it, as the structure and symbols could only be imagined, designed and made by humans. The building has balance and grace and power and the faint symbolism gives an air of mystery.
But, I feel the textural overlay is far, far too strong and almost overwhelms the underlying image. I would reduce the opacity of the overlay somewhat, so that more of the underlying structure becomes visible. Sometimes, less is more.
You asked for other images and as nobody had replied, I was simply adding something in an attempt to encourage others to respond.
But if you don't like the photo it isn't a problem. I have deleted my post, so if you now delete that part of your reply we will simply forget about it.
Excuse me but there is here a misinterpretation due to the fact that English is not my native language.
It doesn't matter if I like your image or not and I am not an admin. The problem is - and I am sure you do understand - I may sometimes say things which are not rude to Portuguese speaking people and which may be rude for you.
Excuse me if I have written anything wrong or/and not kind. I really didn't mean it. I am innocent.
Excuse me but I will not erase or modify my post. I see no reason.
