    It's been a while since I had an interesting spider shot

    The sun was dabbling the background wall. There were also multiple webs that I hoped to capture. I definitely had problems with the bottom right of the bg.

    ISO 100 ~ Shutter Speed 1/3s ~ F/14 ~ Natural Light ~ Sony Alpha a58 ~ Tamron 90mm 272E

    Although it is nice to see a bit of the web I suspect that the bottom right corner would look better if it was slightly darkened.

    Possibly you might then get away with adding a tiny bit of extra all round brightness.

    I agree. With my skills this was as dark as I could get it

    probably. But my name for this spider is Darth Vader because his exoskeleton is shiny and black. I actually had this shot set realo close to neutral

    It is an excellent image of the spider. It's a pity you couldn't get some more of the web appearing. But well done on it nevertheless.

    The problem was that he was behind his web and in front of the others.
