    Creek on the Menindee Rd

I drove out from Broken Hill looking for a hill, that I had seen on a previous trip, to photograph. When I found it, there was a film crew there re-making Wake in Fright, or at least I think that is what they were filming. I had to find another location, and by the time I did the sun was very high and the winter temperature had risen to the high 30s. 36C from memory.

Should have told them that you found the location first and could they please move themselves and their new fangled moving cameras until you got in there to produce proper artistic images!

    Or maybe not.

I feel you could have selected another location where a single tree stand tall, that makes a point of interest for the image; as of now i am afraid the image has some weakness. My feeling only

I was thinking along similar lines; but I suspect that losing around half of the sky and going to a wider ratio will create some more interesting looking foreground to this scene.

Nandakumar you are looking at the single tree standing tall.
I did think of climbing down into the creek bed and getting closer to the one on the left, but I was by myself and it is very remote.

Hmmm have you seen the original Wake in Fright? They might have made a formidable bunch if they were in character.
