The Rock and Sky
Here is my entry for this month: The Rock and Sky
This photo was taken in Turimetta Beach, North Sydney. It was my second attempt to take a photo of this giant rock with more than 2 meters height. Around 8pm - one hour after sunset, the sky was getting dark quickly. I noted some dark warm light across the sky that was not so obvious to our naked eyes. But from my previous experience, I knew my camera would be able to capture such color. I set up my camera quickly, used live view to compose and focus on the rock carefully. With aperture f/4.0, shutter speed 30 seconds, ISO 400, and a 2-stop GND, I was able to capture such wonderful sky together with full of details of the rock texture.

Little Buffalo
This is the Little Buffalo River just outside of Jasper, AR.
It is a tributary of the Buffalo River which was the very first designated National River in the USofA. Established by an Act of Congress on March 1, 1972.
Prior to this shot, we have had a bit of a dry spell. This is about as low as I can remember seeing the Little Buffalo.
