Well camouflaged
Last week, my wife was telling me she saw a hawk fly down around the bird feeder in the back yard. She said it was there a couple of times during the day. A few days later, she tells me there are now TWO hawks in the back yard. As I was finishing up my morning coffee last Sunday, I had this guy suddenly appear. It landed on the patio, then hopped to the middle of the back yard. I was able to snap only 3 shots. This is the one I liked best. I thought the tree limb would detract from the pic, but, the more I looked at it, the better I liked it. This is a mature Coopers Hawk. Apparently, the immature one that has been terrorizing the tweety birds on the feeder told mom/dad about the "buffet". Since then, there have been some very paranoid birds and squirrels at the feeder. BTW, the original image is MUCH sharper than this. I don't know why tinypic does this. I have output sharpening turned to 'high' in LR export.
