Sharon,
Very nice shot. Well seen and captured.
While I like the subtlety of the sign's message being a small element in the composition, I wonder if cropping out the man at the right would result in our eyes being drawn into a closer composition of the two remaining men and the sign to reinforce that message by making it a larger component.
Also, and this is very minor, I'd suggest a very slight rotation to true the vertical columns.
Even if you completely ignore my ramblings, and do nothing, this is a very nice bit of work.

+1 to Robert (and Dan's) suggestion. The man on the right is a distraction. The two figures and the poster on the left are what makes this image. As part of the crop, I would also remove some of the road, which would bring the two men and the poster into greater prominence.

Thanks for the suggestions all well taken and understood. I actually have two versions one with and without the man approaching. I guess I decided to leave him in because I felt him approaching the scene with the welcome smiles from the two men added to the story....like he was someone in need and he found this place. The crop does make some sense, possibly even removing the upper windows.
The verticals... geez yes ....hahah
I wasn’t quite close enough to make it a good composition, I was on the other side of the street and saw them there conversing. After my second shot they started smiling and waving so I figured I was done...they saw me 😀😇

Sharon - generally a strong image can only have a single subject or point of interest. If there is more than one, the viewer's eyes will move between them and will quickly tire of the image. Here that man on the right hand side draws our attention, but given the title of this image, it strikes me that he isn't really your subject...
