    Great subtle tones the snow makes with the vegetation, very nice - just how wildly did you celebrate the new year Jim? I was not aware they allow cameras in prison.

    This is the view from one of the windows in our room where we stay when we go up to Amish Country in Walnut Creek Ohio.

    Overall a very nice approach to this scene that works quite effectively. I wonder if reducing the amount of foreground, which is not all that interesting, by cropping the bottom row of the frame might not result in a stronger composition?

    Jim,

    I second Manfred's suggestion. It hadn't occurred to me, but I just tried it, and I think it is a substantial improvement to an already strong image. Just my two cents.
