Re: 2018 Print 52 Shadowman P45 Halloween
Hi John - It always amazes me that adults revert back to childhood and dress in costumes. And yes, I like to wear a costume as well but you won't find me running in a 5K race! You captured this scene uniquely with the buildings providing the backdrop to all the color. It is well done! I also didn't realize that a shutter speed of 1/200 would freeze movement. I've tried capturing kids in action and I seem to need more shutter speed to accomplish it.
Definitely a nice scene for a print! :)

Hi Sandy,
I like costuming as well but tend to go for lowkey look whenever possible, a character who sports a suit is more my style. The 1/200s helped but it was the flash that really stopped the movement, thanks for commenting.
Re: 2018 Print 52 Shadowman P46 Mas Player Mono
I'd been printing using matte black ink for about 6 weeks and decided to switch to photo black, mainly because my papers were running thin. :( Had a sudden interest in processing an image using the zone system and came up with this printed on Epson glossy paper.

She is a good subject for your prints. Lots of detail especially noting the length of her fingernails. I'd never get along with mine that length..... LOL
I'm also curious about the odd look to the lower left of the picture? It looks like bits and pieces? How did you do this? <I'm inquisitive as usual>

Hi Sandy,
Thanks for commenting, the bits and pieces are the result of the content aware tool cloning in an unwanted obstruction.

Hi John,
Street photography is not really my scene, but I have to congratulate you for some super, eye-catching pictures. You certainly have an attuned eye for a good picture.
Re: 2018 Print 52 Shadowman P48 Corvette 2009
I like the shot of the Corvette. You have definitely taken that shot to a higher level.
Just about everything works; exposure, PoV, DoF, positioning in the frame. The only thing I don't quite love is the texture. Car paint jobs tend to not show any roughness, so I suspect that must be something that happened in PP. Getting rid of some of the noise in the foreground would look better in print too.

Well done! Just the right amount of shadow and light to draw me in! I bet this looks great as a print! :)

Hi Bruce,
I read that the ship spent some time as an iceberg spotter, perhaps that created some of the rumpled steel. Thanks for commenting.
