After several day of sub zero winter, I was curious to see how much the Hamilton Harbour Bay had frozen. in addition, having been without my camera for several days ( it is in the camera 'hospital'), I was anxious to shoot some pics.
I found that the bay had frozen sufficient for the ice fishing enthusiasts to have gotten out their augers and fishing huts. I also found that the waterfowl who live there all year round were having a difficult time with the freeze but surviving none the less.

I used 1/1250" as exposure time. This was not fast enough to captue the wing tips so they are blurred.
