Wow, thank you everyone!

I rarely win anything and was up against some tough competition - as usual.

The 'model' (my granddaughter) and her Mum are on their way to visit as I type, I'm sure they'll be thrilled when I tell them.

I like this one for the eye contact and happy smile.

After 'trying too hard'* on previous shoots, in the last couple (this and a subsequent) have been kept simple; just two flash into white reflective umbrellas lighting both subject and white seamless (paper roll) background.

* Last year I was lighting the background from either in front or behind and neither option, in the limited space, was really successful.

As promised above, for those interested, I'll document the latest shoot soon (lighting set up exactly same as above).
