Hi Richard,
Usually I am a hasty street photography shooter, rarely do I sit for long periods of time waiting for something to happen. On this particular night I was testing out a lens (85mm) for architectural shots so the settings were established to try and control the intensity of building lights and capturing a decent looking sky. This shot was taken around 7:15 during winter, when I saw the woman approach the curb the only thing I adjusted was switching to handholding from shooting on a solid surface; I was able to get about three captures before she moved on. Thanks for comments.
Really enjoy this John. Love the bare feet too!
If it was winter and she was wearing Jandals (flip-flops or thongs if you will) she was probably a Kiwi. We wear them in sub-zero temperatures!
Excellent image, well captured John

+1 to all the positive comments. As far as the discussion on the lights in the background, I agree with Dan.
