    Judging by the curtains in the windows this one is still occupied. Were you on holiday in Tennessee when you shot this?

    We went for a drive from our place and stumbled across it. Strangely enough as well as the flash curtains the lawns were mowed and the garden reasonably tidy. Tennessee is a bit far for an afternoon drive even at my pace.

    Yes, but only because it is a 500 Km away from the nearest fault line. It is strange how long a derelict building seems to hang on to life. There are some that blatantly defy gravity for several decades.

    Seriously thought, I like the image very much ... the balance of the colour with the location of the other apertures (door and window) seems good to me.

    Well spotted and a Nice capture Paul. The curtains and the glazing of the left window seem odd when compared to the broken glazing of the right side window and the overall condition of the building. The image makes me want to see the area around the structure.

    Peter I spotted it a few kilometres along a country road leading to a little seaside holiday settlement. It may have been an old farm cottage or something similar. A bit too far from the harbour to be a holiday cottage. Below is a wider shot to give you a bit of background.
