I can't believe I clipped the cross!£😣. I have to go back to the original to see if it happened during the exposure or during processing. You are correct though ; I needed that shot for completeness.

I like the first photo - with his toes hanging off the walkway - getting ready to go! Nice! :)

Both look good to me. In flight shots are so difficult to get with this sort of right timing.

The colour of the water works against you a bit in the second, but it's still a great shot Joe.

Nice crane captures.

Thanks Geoff. I switched to 'burst' mode for this shot, so was able to select the one i wanted.

Thanks Bill. The water was terrible . Full of 'blue/green' algae in that part of the bay where the bird was 'hunting'
