I can't believe I clipped the cross!£😣. I have to go back to the original to see if it happened during the exposure or during processing. You are correct though ; I needed that shot for completeness.

Both look good to me. In flight shots are so difficult to get with this sort of right timing.

The colour of the water works against you a bit in the second, but it's still a great shot Joe.

Thanks Bill. The water was terrible . Full of 'blue/green' algae in that part of the bay where the bird was 'hunting'
