Your week 11 photos of the Ladybug are super. She doesn't look that fierce to me in my not so close up shots! Maybe I ought to be more wary of her? <LOL>

I often seems to get a fierce look, when I am coming too close I guess...

week 12 : First testing with the bellows/rev lens setup. After a few operator errors, I finallyh managed to get a few decent shots from a flower: Cyclamen coum 'Rubrum':

1: More or less the whole flower. I should not have cut off that petal, and I should have rotated the flower a bit, but ok next time....
Shot in studio with 7DII,rev 50 mm lens @+/- 1x; diffused MT24EX; stacked using Zerene Stacker, uncropped

2:Shot in studio with 7DII, bellows/rev 50 mm lens @+/- 2x; diffused MT24EX; stacked using Zerene Stacker, uncropped

    3:A look 'inside':

    C&C Always welcome.

Rudi, this is an interesting set of photos. The third one is amazing!

Is the 50mm lens you're using a lens dating back to a film camera? I have a reversing adaptor which I occasionally used with the 50mm lens on my old Canon film camera.

week 13 : more experimenting with the bellows/rev lens, again quiet a few failures, mostly due to operator errors . But this crocus came out not too bad I like to think.... All comments/critque always welcomed off course.

1: The inside off a crocus flower, I used a green backdrop behind the flat open flower:
Shot in studio with 5DIII,bellows/rev 50 mm lens @+/- 2x; diffused MT24EX; stacked using Zerene Stacker, uncropped

2: A detailed shot from the anthers from the above flower:
Shot in studio with 5DIII,bellows/rev 50 mm lens @+/- 5x; diffused MT24EX; stacked using Zerene Stacker, uncropped

3: Experimenting with continuous led light: A detailed shot from an open stigma from another crocus flower, one can even spot a few pollen:
Shot in studio with 5DIII,bellows/rev 50 mm lens @+/- 1,5x; 3jansjo led lights; stacked using Zerene Stacker, uncropped

You aqre getting along with the bellows nicely! And your development of nice backgrounds is good. Might start to consider composition other than dead center. What if # 1 was at a slight angle, What if #2 and @# 3 were not centered? Don't know until you try!

Hi Rudi ~ The detail that you are able to capture with your current set up is intriguing. The third photo is my favorite of this series. Such a delicate looking stigma - I like the light glow in them. All well done!
On average, how many shots do you use in your stacking process?

They are all tricky exposure shots, but have come out very well.
