    full size in lightbox helps. This is a small translucent bluish mould. Most of the lumps and bumps are inside. The outside has no sharply defined edges.

    For me... totally fascinating. Capturing that translucence is not easy.

    I understand your reference (I think) to the technical challenges of the capture,. but my mind works somewhat oddly at times, when viewing certain images. This sparks fantasies about rediscovered ancient torsos, (statues) !!

    I'd love to see Sharon's edit. To my mind there is an nclosed Bear. I may be going back to this shot.
