Helpful Posts: About 6 weeks back my hard drive went poof. It was under warranty so no problem. Wrong! My hd wasn't available and they had no idea when one would be. Two choices upgrade or downgrade. Went with the upgrade.
They told me that they would clone my old drive to my new one. But it turns out it wasn't a clone they just transferred some data.
I lost my Capture 1 10.2. No problem I just dl a new copy. Problem! There is no license for 10.2 in my licence page.
Solution. There is a license for 11
My 10.2 activation code worked on 11
I now have 11 on my hd and it is a nice improvement.
Just to maintain my honor I did get in touch with Capture 1 and explained that I didn't buy 11. So far no reply.
I'm thinking that just maybe because i upgraded to 10.2 only a few day before 11 came out they have generously upgraded me for free?

But it has also it's positive things. You got rid of all that nonsens on your disk you collected. It would me for me anyway.

It took so long because this is the Philippines. If I hadn't upgraded I'd still be waiting. I do indeed get a new clean SSD and they also mounted my old Lenovo hd and formatted it. Originally Posted by george013

Capture One doesn't see like the most organized bunch. I am not being disparaging, they just seem to take time to get around to things. Hopefully your comment went on the ignore spike and all will be well.

The more I learn the more aware I am of the profundity of my ignorance. And I've come to realize that everything important to the human condition was figured out long ago. It just takes a dose of humility to accept the fact that we are no smarter than those who lived and chronicled their thoughts/experiences in past millennia. There's a reason that we still teach our children the works of philosophers who lived thousands of years ago. Modern science continues to reveal how the world works but can't tell us why.
