Having the people there is an excellent addition to the image. It sets the scale and does add to the drama. The fact that it seems pretty stupid to be out there on such a days, worked to your advantage.

Nice capture. I didn't notice the people when viewing this image on the small screen of my ASUS Chromebook but, they are very evident (and greatly add to the image) when viewed on my desktop monitor...
BTW: We purchased a Samsung Chromebook (their top line model) for my spouse because her eyes are no longer as acute as the were when she was younger and the display of the Samsung is sharper. Although the screen of her Samsung is just slightly bigger that that of my older ASUS, it is easy to spot the people when the image is viewed on her Chromebook...
