Dearth of new members saying Hi?

Hi folks,

In previous years, if I recall correctly, we've had quite a few new members introducing themselves in the new year (perhaps getting cameras for Christmas?).

This year, there have been very few (and I don't think any have become regular contributors, apart from one who flourished and disappeared). Oops, apart from Lurcher from the Wirral.

A question for the mods, I guess. Has this also been reflected in the number of posts?

There's a wealth of information in the forum now so it is possible to get what you need without hanging around too long or interacting with others.
