    Glass & Sky 2

    Returned downtown to try and improve my photos before pressing the shutter. Spent much more time looking and waiting for natural light to lighten the shadows.
    Heading in the right direction?

    I like doing these types of images from time to time, but generally find that they don't quite work the way I had hoped.

    Of the two images, I prefer the second one as the sky does not detract from the building, whereas in the first one, the clouds do pull the viewer's eyes away from the structure.

    I too like the second one more, but for a different reason: the shapes are more complex, and the image is more interesting.
