Returning To My Roots: Passionately Purple

    ISO 100 ~ Shutter Speed 0.5s. ~ F/16 ~ Natural Light ~ Sony Alpha a58 ~ Tamron 90mm 272E

This shot started out life as an almost neutrally exposed shot. Then darkness erupted.

A Freudian slip caused by living on the side of a volcano?

Was darkness caused by a Curves or Levels adjustment?

    Nice image, as usual ...

Not so Freudian. Once I switched to 'Linear' the darkness erupted. Then I played with curves, level, contrast, structure and all the usual vilians.
