Please help. My camera ran out of shutter count and I cannot retrieve session images

My camera ran out of shutter count. I have taken an entire days worth of images. Saturday is my long product listing day and low and behold after settling down to list the items on item #5 I realize that the folder where my images are stored in the sd card is several hundred images shy. And it stops at 9999

I am using an older Kodak Easyshare digital camera and I have never come across this before.
There is no function as to set continuous or renew and even so, there is no way I would want to format and lose a days worth of work. I formatted just before the shoot anyway.

Does anyone know a workaround? When I pop the sd card back in camera all the images -are there-. It's just trying to pull from the card into my listings that is an issue as it will only show up to image # 9999. Please help if possible, thank you.

Put the card back into the computer and see if it created multiple folders.

Thank you Shadowman. You saved my day. Literally : ) I never had that issue with my dslr bodies as I have always upgraded well before hitting any high digits. I really appreciate it.

    +1 to John's comment.

When I first got my Nikon camera about 9 months ago, it wrote all of the data into a file named 101ND810 on the memory card. Now I am using a file named 103ND810. Every time the camera hits a count of 9999, it creates a new folder and starts writing data there.

Every camera I have ever owned worked in a similar fashion. Look for another folder with a similar name to the one you have been using up until now and I suspect you will find it and the missing files should be there.

    Glad it worked out.
