Helpful Posts: It is a drizzly day and I was sitting on the balcony wondering how I could capture the feeling of the garden scene immediately before me, which is mostly wet trees and shrubs. Then I noticed this guy just snoozing. When it was smaller a few months back, it used to build webs much closer to the ground. Now he is much bigger and hangs his web a few metres up in the air.
C & C welcome, and would be grateful if any one can identify it. I've tried but no luck so far. Some kind of orb weaver?

Looks like an Orb Weaver to me but I'm no expert. Your shot definitely has the St. James Infirmary Blues feeling.
